Under the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Rajasthan Scheme, a total of 500 scholarships will be awarded to bonafide resident students of Rajasthan pursuing higher education. A total of 300 seats are allocated for students who wish to study in top universities abroad, while 200 students will be selected to study in the top 50 institutions in India.
Students who have secured 60% marks in the following exams will be eligible for the scholarship. The courses covered under this scheme include:
- Post-Doctoral (Max Course Duration: 1.5 Years)
- Ph.D. (Max Course Duration: 3 Years)
- Postgraduate (PG) (Max Course Duration: 2 Years)
- Undergraduate (UG) (Max Course Duration: 4 Years)
Subjects allowed under the scheme include Post-Doctoral, Ph.D., PG, and UG programs. All subjects listed in the Times Higher Education University Rankings (Top 1-150) are eligible for 300 seats (E1, E2 & E3 categories). However, for Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, and Architecture at the UG level, institutions must also be ranked within the top 1-25 Times Higher Education Rankings subject-wise. For Post-Doctoral, Ph.D., PG, and UG courses in India, only subjects from the top 1-50 NIRF-ranked Indian universities are eligible (for 200 seats, exclusively for the E1 category).
